Auckland Council seeks external peer and community assessors to join its pool of assessors providing arts and culture expertise at community and sector level to assist in evaluation of projects and grant schemes.

Assessors are asked to evaluate against specific criteria a range of applications and proposals made to programmes and initiatives administered by Auckland Council. This includes the Creative Communities Scheme and Regional Arts and Culture grants programme.

Assessors will be drawn from the pool of approved assessors when needed reflecting the specific skill sets required for each project or grant evaluation.

Assessment panels will be formed at various times of the year - information of the time commitment required and conditions will be outlined in the invitation. Not all assessors in the assessment pool may be required during the course of a year.
