West - Accommodation Assistance Fund - Round 1 2013/2014

Criteria

Designed to provide a more equitable, fairer and transparent form of funding than the previous rates remission.

Who can apply?

Community groups who either own their own properties and those leasing or renting properties.

When funding is available

There will be one funding round for 2013/2014. The round will open on 13 January and close on 28 February 2014. 

Fund guidelines

Groups may apply for assistance for meeting costs of rate payments or that part of rental payments that relates to rates, provided that:

• they own and occupy their own  property (i.e. private property) and are paying rates to Auckland Council; or
• they are leasing private property, but are not the ratepayers; or
• they are leaasing property from Auckland Council (groups who currenlty have subsidised or below market rate rentals may not be eligible to apply).

Please note:

• You can save and close your application at any time before you submit it. Once submitted your application cannot be changed.
• When you submit your application you will recieve a .pdf copy for your records and it will also be saved in your account.
