Accommodation support grants for community groups

Community organisations can apply for accommodation grants to cover:

  • rental and/or lease payments
  • Auckland Council rates
  • regular, ongoing venue hire costs.  

Applications must be for amounts between $2,500 and $20,000.

Submission of applications closes 10pm Friday

  • Waitematā 13 March 2026 
  • Albert‑Eden 20 March 2026

Please note there will be no technical support provided after 4pm.

Before completing this form

  • Please ensure that your accommodation request meet the criteria and aligns with the priorities of this grant as outlined in the Albert-Eden or Waitematā Local Board Community Grant Programmes.
  • All applications must be submitted online using this form. 
  • Your application form can be saved and returned to you, as you complete the form. Remember to save often!

If you have limited online access, you can book a librarian or computer in one of Auckland Council libraries. Ensure you take all the required attachments and answers saved on a memory stick to the library to upload it into your online form.
