The Puketāpapa Local Board has allocated a small amount of funding to support communities to celebrate Neighbours Day. Applicants can apply for funds up to $200.00 if activities meet the grant criteria.

Eligibility criteria

Must be a resident of the Puketāpapa Local Board area
Activity or event must involve ten or more households or apartment flats on the same street or apartment building
Funding cannot be used for the purchase of alcohol
Event intends to meet the Neighbours Day goal of turning strangers into neighbours and turning streets into neighbourhoods
Event must take place within the Puketāpapa Local Board area

Accountability: Applicants must be able to take photos of the event and provide this to Auckland Council by 13 April 2024, along with a brief summary of the event’s success.
