Puketāpapa Local Board has partnered with Neighbourhood Support Auckland City Inc. to provide small grants of up to $200 to help communities celebrate and take part in Neighbours Day Aotearoa March 27-April 5 2020. Events can take place between 27 March to 12 April 2020, and all activities must be held in the Puketāpapa
Eligibility criteria
Applicants may apply for funds up to $200 that are awarded based on the following criteria:
- the applicant must be a resident of the Puketāpapa local board area
- the event is planned to take place between 27 March to 12 April 2020
- ten or more households in your street are invited to participate
- grant funding is not used towards the purchase of alcohol
- the activity or event is a street-based activity for your street neighbours and takes place in the Puketāpapa local board area (one event per street)
- grant funding and events are not to be used to promote business, religious ministry or political purposes
- accountability: applicants must be able to take photos of the event and provide these to Neighbourhood Support Annie (annie.heem@nsakl.org.nz) by 19 April 2020, with some information on what made the event a success
