Please carefully read all the information about the Community Coordination and Facilitation Grant Programme Guidelines before completing this application form. As part of this application, you will need to provide all supporting documentation requested even if you have provided it with any previous application to council. 

Please note: Complete the same form if you are a recipient of the year one (2018-2019) CCF grant seeking for a one year extension of funding.

All applications must be submitted online using this form. The application form can be saved as you go and will autosave each time you move to a new page of the application form.

The Community Conservation and Facilitation grant programme is a contestable grant programme and the application process is competitive.  In total more funding is requested through applications than is available in the grant programme budget.  While grants of up to $50,000 per year are available we encourage you to consider the level of support needed to deliver your project.

In previous grant rounds a number of projects were partially supported and did not receive all of the funds they requests.  As part of the application process you are asked to consider if your application could be scaled back and proceed with a part of the funding you have requested.  

If you have limited computer access, you can book a computer or librarian for one hour in one of Auckland's libraries. Ensure you take all the required documents saved on a memory stick so you can upload these in your application form. 

To complete this application you may need to attach the following documents.

New applicants:

  • Project planning documentation including project plans, business plans or strategic planning documents
  • A map showing the landscape or catchment coverage of your project
  • Quotes or other documentation (eg job description or work programme) to support project costs
  • Bank account details
  • A copy of your financial statements, which may include your annual report
  • Minutes from your organisation or a letter from an officeholder authorising your application

Existing applicants seeking extension of funding:

  • Minutes or a letter from your organisation with authorisation to apply for a second year of funding.
  • Project planning documentation including project plans, business plans or strategic planning documents where either updated since you received your CCF grant or newly created (e.g. through your current grant), or not previously submitted.
  • A map showing any changes to the landscape or catchment coverage of your project
  • Quotes or other documentation (eg job description or work programme) to support project costs
  • Bank account details if they have changed
  • Any reporting showing outcomes from your first-year grant including annual reports, media articles etc
