Central - Community Accommodation Support Fund - Round 1 2013/2014

Submissions closed at 5:00PM 15 July 2013 (NZST).

Criteria:

Community and voluntary organisations that work in the following local board areas are eligible:

  • Albert-Eden
  • Great Barrier Island
  • Orakei
  • Maungakiekie-Tamaki
  • Puketapapa
  • Waiheke Island
  • Waitemata

Groups must have legal status (i.e. be an incorporated society or registered charitable trust) or apply under the umbrella of an organisation that does.

Who cannot apply

  • Groups that have access to Auckland central community centres and halls.
  • Groups that currently have subsidised leases.
  • Groups already receiving a grant from the Community Group Assistance Fund.

Fund size

Grants range from $2,500 minimum to $25,000 maximum.

Note: The minimum grant size does not apply for groups from Great Barrier and Waiheke Islands. Applicants in these local board areas can apply for less than $2,500.

When funding is available

There will be one round of funding for 2013/2014. The round opens on 1 June and closes on 14 July 2013.

Fund guidelines

Funding can be used for:

  • rental and lease payments
  • Auckland Council rates
  • regular, ongoing venue hire
  • regular, ongoing hire of a sports field or similar (for sports groups only).

  • You can save and close your application at any time before you submit it. Once submitted your application cannot be changed.
  • When you submit your application you will recieve a .pdf copy for your records and it will also be saved in your account.
